About
Fishlake village lies at the eastern extremities of South Yorkshire – seven miles north east of Doncaster and is formally part of the manor of Hatfield. Tucked away in the countryside Fishlake has along and fascinating history.
A local history group was formed in September 2015 and meets monthly in the Village Hall. The Fishlake History Society’s aims are to collect photographs and memorabilia regarding Fishlake’s long and interesting history as well as sharing research information with like minded people.They have there own excellent website http://www.fishlakehistroysociety.uk
